The program would like to announce that it has recruited three fellows to join the program. The program now has a total of 30 fellows. The three fellows who joined the Program are:
Annie works as an economist in the Ministry of Natural Resources, energy and mining responsible for, among others, policy and planning for the Natural Resources and Environment sector. In this fellowship, focussing on capacity needs assessment and building for climate financing.
Cynthia Mwandwe is currently working for the government of Zambia under the Ministry of Agriculture as an Agricultural officer (agronomy). She holds a BSc in Agroforestry from the Copperbelt University, Zambia and an MSc in climate change development and policy from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
Theresia is a scientist holding an Msc in Natural Resource Assessment and Management from University of Dar es salaam-Institute of Resource Assessment ; Tanzania, BSc in Tropical Agriculture and also BSc in Botany and Zoology. She is well motivated to collaborate, work and share experiences on restoring Natural Resources at Policy level in order to ensure well being of the farming community who forms majority of the population through better policies, plan and strategies given the current climate change challenges. She is currently working with the Ministry of agriculture; Environment management Unit in Tanzania
The three fellows had an inception training that was held in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in August 2018.
